Custom Logo Import

Add custom logos from your photo library, Files app, or a URL

3 min read

Every pass in NeatPass can display a logo, the small image that appears at the top of the pass in Apple Wallet. NeatPass automatically extracts logos from imported tickets, but you can also add or replace logos manually from three different sources. The logo is part of your pass design alongside colors and layout.

URL Import Details

Supported: direct links to image files (PNG, JPEG, etc.) over HTTPS or HTTP.

Maximum file size: 20 MB. The file must be a valid image format.

Error Messages

Invalid URL

The entered text is not a valid web address. Check for typos and make sure the URL starts with http:// or https://.

Download Failed

The server could not be reached or returned an error. Check your internet connection and verify the URL is still active.

File Too Large

The image exceeds the 20 MB limit. Try finding a smaller version or download and resize it first.

Not a Valid Image

The downloaded file is not a recognized image format. Make sure the URL points directly to an image file, not a webpage.

Cropping

After selecting or downloading an image, the crop tool opens automatically. Drag to reposition the image and pinch to zoom in or out. The crop area matches the logo dimensions required by Apple Wallet.

Logo Placement

The logo always appears in the top-left corner of the pass across all pass types (Event Ticket, Boarding Pass, Store Card, Coupon, Generic).

Tips

Use a transparent PNG for the best result so the logo blends with the pass background color
Square logos work best across all pass types
Company logos are often available as PNG files on the company's press page
URL import is useful when you find a better version of a logo online
The Files app option is handy for logos saved from email or downloaded to your device
