Got a ticket in your email? You can share it directly to NeatPass from Apple Mail, Gmail, or Outlook. NeatPass extracts the barcode and creates an Apple Wallet pass.

Three Ways to Share

Screenshot

Fastest method. Screenshot the QR code and share to NeatPass.

Print to PDF

Captures the full email content. Great for preserving ticket details.

Share Attachment

For PDF ticket files attached to emails. Share them directly.

Apple Mail

The built-in Mail app lets you create a PDF from any email using the print function.

1

Open the email

Find and open the email containing your ticket.

2

Tap Print

Tap the reply arrow at the bottom of the email (not the toolbar), then select Print.

3

Create the PDF

On the print preview, pinch outward (spread two fingers apart) on the thumbnail to open it as a PDF.

4

Share to NeatPass

Tap the Share icon (top-right) and select NeatPass from the share sheet.

Gmail

Gmail's print feature lets you convert emails to PDF and share them.

1

Open the email

Find and open the email containing your ticket.

2

Tap Print

Tap the three-dot menu at the top right, then select 'Print' or 'Print all' for threads.

Screenshot Method

The fastest way to get a QR code into NeatPass is to screenshot it.

1

Display the barcode

Open the email and scroll to show the QR code or barcode clearly on screen.

2

Take a screenshot

Press Side button + Volume Up (or Home button + Side button on older iPhones).

3

Share to NeatPass

Tap the screenshot preview, then tap Share and select NeatPass.

Quick Tip

Make sure the barcode is fully visible and not cropped. NeatPass can extract barcodes from any image, even if other content is visible.

Sharing Attachments

Attachments Not Included in Print

When you use print-to-PDF, only the email body is captured. PDF attachments (like ticket files) are not included and must be shared separately.

If your ticket is a PDF attachment, share it directly:

1

Tap the attachment

In the email, tap the PDF attachment to preview it.

2

Tap Share

Tap the Share icon (usually at the bottom or top of the preview).

3

Select NeatPass

Choose NeatPass from the share sheet. The PDF will be imported directly.

Troubleshooting

Can't find the Print option

In Apple Mail, tap the reply arrow at the bottom of the email itself (not the toolbar). In Gmail and Outlook, tap the three-dot menu. If viewing a thread, try opening the specific email first.

NeatPass doesn't appear in the share sheet

Scroll right in the share sheet to find NeatPass, or tap 'More' to enable it. Make sure NeatPass is installed and up to date.

Barcode not detected from the email

Try the screenshot method instead. Make sure the barcode is clearly visible and not too small. Check our supported barcodes guide for compatible formats.
