A friendly grocery membership card rises from a produce basket into a wallet pouch

This article covers the UK Co-op Membership app from Co-operative Group Limited. Co-op makes its membership card available in Apple Wallet through the official app. That is useful at member-price checkouts, but it does not move the whole Co-op account into Wallet: weekly offers still need to be selected and managed in the app or on the Co-op website. If your card belongs to Southern Co-op, check its current store terms because availability differs during the transition.

Co-op has an official Wallet path

Open the current UK Co-op Membership app, open your membership card, and choose Add to Apple Wallet. This official pass keeps the card available for an offline card view when you need it.

Use the official pass first. It keeps the membership relationship with Co-op, while Apple Wallet gives you a focused way to present the card for member prices and other in-store checks.

Official membership pass

The Co-op Membership app can send the card to Apple Wallet with its own Add to Wallet action.

Useful at the till

Present the saved card when Co-op needs to identify your membership for a purchase.

Offers stay separate

Weekly offers must be selected in the Co-op app or on the website and are not replaced by the Wallet card.

Offline card access

The Co-op app keeps the digital membership card available offline.

The card is not the whole membership

Co-op's membership program includes the card and account actions around it. Weekly offers are selected in the app or on the website. The Apple Wallet pass is for presenting the membership card, so do not assume it selects offers, shows offer details, or changes eligibility.

Select offers before shopping

Use the Co-op app or website to choose any weekly offers first. At the shop, show the Wallet card when the membership barcode is needed.

Keep your Co-op membership card ready

NeatPass makes it easy to convert any ticket, pass, or loyalty card to Apple Wallet.

How to add a Co-op membership card to Apple Wallet

Because Co-op provides an official route, start there. Any imported pass is a separate personal backup, not an upgrade to or sync with the official account.

1

Open Co-op Membership

Open the current UK Co-op Membership app and sign in to the account that contains your card. Make sure the digital membership card is visible before continuing.
2

Choose Add to Apple Wallet

Open the card view and tap the Add to Apple Wallet action. Complete Apple's confirmation screen to save the official pass.
3

Select weekly offers separately

Before a shop visit, use the Co-op app or website to select any weekly offers you want to use. The Wallet pass does not perform that account action.
4

Show the pass at the shop

Open Apple Wallet when the member barcode is requested. Keep the Co-op app or website available for offers and other membership tasks.

A NeatPass option for a stable barcode

If you want one library for several stable physical cards, NeatPass can create a separate personal pass from a clear barcode. This is not an official Co-op integration, so follow Co-op's membership terms and use the official pass first. Use only a source that does not change, and check the NeatPass supported barcode types first. An imported pass does not select Co-op offers or sync membership-account data.

Why the Wallet card helps

The official pass gives the digital membership card a dedicated place on your iPhone. It is most useful when you want the card without navigating through the full membership app.

Fast member identification

Open the saved card when a Co-op checkout asks for membership details.

A focused card view

Wallet keeps the barcode separate from weekly-offer and account screens.

Works with the app

Use the pass for the card and the Co-op app or website for offers and account actions.

Optional stable-card backup

NeatPass can hold a separate static barcode pass when a personal card library is useful.

Keep Co-op for offers

The Co-op app and website remain the place to select weekly offers. Use Wallet for the membership card and keep the Co-op app available for account actions.
