Eurostar supports Apple Wallet, but only for direct journeys. The button sits under each ticket in the Eurostar app and inside the email attachment from Manage your booking. The moment a connecting service joins the booking, the Wallet flow disappears.
Here is how the Eurostar Apple Wallet flow really works in 2026, what happens when the trip includes an onward connection, and a workaround for the bookings that arrive as a PDF instead.
How Eurostar Adds Tickets to Apple Wallet
Eurostar exposes an Add to Apple Wallet icon under each ticket on the Your Bookings screen of the iOS app. Tap it once and the e-ticket barcode lands in Apple Wallet without reopening the app.
The website route works too: open Manage your booking on eurostar.com, enter the passenger details, and choose Email mobile tickets. The attachment opens straight into Apple Wallet on iPhone, with the same barcode the gates expect to see.

Which Eurostar Bookings Work in Apple Wallet
Not every Eurostar booking is eligible for the Wallet button. The split is mostly about whether the trip is a single direct service or a combined journey.
Direct Eurostar journeys
Direct Eurostar trips get the Apple Wallet button without exception. London St Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord, London to Brussels-Midi, London to Amsterdam Centraal, Paris to Brussels, and Paris to Amsterdam are all eligible. The QR or 2D barcode on the Wallet pass is what the automated gates read at every Eurostar station.
Connecting journeys
Connecting journeys are excluded. Eurostar's own documentation states that digital wallet tickets are only available for bookings without connecting journeys. Trips that combine a Eurostar leg with an onward TGV, ICE, or Thalys-style service stay inside the app or arrive as a PDF in the confirmation email.
Eurostar via SNCF Connect
Eurostar tickets bought through SNCF Connect can also be added to Apple Wallet through that app. SNCF Connect lists Eurostar alongside TGV INOUI and eligible TER as Wallet-compatible. The pass uses the same Eurostar barcode underneath, so the gates do not care which app produced it.

When the Eurostar Ticket Is a PDF
Connecting journeys, group bookings, and certain combined fares typically come as a PDF in the confirmation email. Apple Wallet does not open PDFs natively, so the file ends up in Mail or Files, not on the Lock Screen.
On a Friday night at St Pancras, that means launching Mail, finding the right thread, scrolling to the attachment, and waiting for the PDF to render. The ticket gates close 30 minutes before departure (15 minutes for Premier), and a slow PDF render can eat the buffer.
When NeatPass Helps With a Eurostar Ticket
NeatPass creates Apple Wallet passes from supported barcodes. For Eurostar, that fills the gaps where the official flow skips Wallet: connecting journeys, certain group and combined bookings, and partner-issued tickets that arrive as PDFs.
Where NeatPass fits
- PDF or screenshot tickets: A connecting-journey PDF or a partner-issued confirmation can be turned into a Wallet pass with the barcode intact, so the barcode keeps working offline
- Custom design: Pick a color that stands out in the Wallet stack so the Eurostar leg is recognizable at a glance among other passes
- Original PDF kept on file: NeatPass keeps the source document alongside the pass, so the booking confirmation is never more than a tap away at the gate
Where it does not help
- Tickets with rotating barcodes: If a Eurostar ticket inside the official app uses a code that refreshes during the trip, a screenshot-based pass will not refresh with it. For those, use the Eurostar app's own Wallet button when it is offered.
- Interrail and Eurail mobile passes: the pass itself stays in Rail Planner. Eurostar seat reservations are separate from the pass ticket and may arrive as their own reservation document or app record. Keep the official pass and reservation source for the journey.

DownloadThe Eurostar Ticket in Wallet
For a direct Eurostar between London, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, or Rotterdam, the official Apple Wallet flow is the right call: tap the icon in the app, or open the email attachment from Manage your booking, and the barcode is on the Lock Screen for travel day.
For connecting journeys, group bookings, and combined fares that arrive as a PDF, NeatPass turns the barcode into a Wallet pass that lives next to the rest. Either way, the right place for a Eurostar ticket is the Lock Screen, not three taps deep in an app or buried in an email thread.
