NeatPass 1.1: iCloud Sync, Collections, and More

Version 1.1 is the biggest NeatPass update since launch. It brings iCloud Sync, Collections, new import methods, and dozens of improvements across scanning, accessibility, and performance.

Update NeatPass from the App Store to get everything below. iCloud Sync is off by default, enable it in Settings when you're ready.

iCloud Sync

Your passes now sync automatically across all your Apple devices. Everything stays in sync: passes, collections, trash, settings, and the original source documents you imported.

Automatic Sync

Changes sync in real time. Edits made offline are queued and sync when connectivity returns.

Smart Conflict Resolution

When the same pass is edited on two devices, NeatPass compares fields individually and keeps the newest value for each one.

A status indicator in Settings shows whether everything is synced (green), changes are pending (orange), or a sync is in progress (blue). Tap it to force a manual sync anytime.

Collections

Organize passes into custom groups. Each collection gets its own name, icon (100+ SF Symbols with search), and color. A pass can belong to multiple collections at once.

Flexible Organization

Create collections, drag to reorder, and use a built-in Favorites collection. New passes auto-join the collection you're viewing.

Smart Filtering

Filter chips adapt to show only pass types present in each collection, so you can quickly find what you need.

Barcode Selection

When multiple barcodes are detected on a page, choose which one to use with an interactive overlay. Duplicates are color-coded.

Camera Scanner

Point your camera at any barcode to update a pass. Live detection overlay with tap-to-confirm.

Paste from Clipboard

Import PDFs and images from your clipboard, including Universal Clipboard from your Mac.

Multi-Day Events

Festivals and conferences get proper end date support. Your pass stays on the lock screen for the entire event duration.

Multiple Locations

Add up to 10 locations per pass for lock screen notifications. Search by venue name with auto-geocoding.

Better Scanning Results

The scanning engine is significantly more accurate, especially with low-quality images, unusual layouts, and international ticket formats.

More reliable text recognition on scanned, photographed, or low-res tickets

Better handling of multi-column layouts like train tickets and boarding passes

Improved detection of non-standard boarding pass formats

More accurate date recognition, including abbreviated months and 2-digit years

DataMatrix, EAN-13, and other non-wallet barcode formats display correctly in-app
