Interactive maps showing location markers on boarding passes and event tickets

2 min read

NeatPass shows interactive maps with markers for locations saved on your passes. Maps auto-zoom to fit all locations with padding, and you can tap to open Apple Maps for directions.

Boarding Pass Locations

Air Travel

Airport coordinates come from a built-in database of 9,000+ airports worldwide. NeatPass also supports live flight tracking for boarding passes. When you set departure and arrival airports, their locations are placed on the map instantly.

1

Open the boarding pass

Open or create a boarding pass and tap Edit.

2

Select departure airport

Tap the departure field to open the airport picker. Search by IATA code (e.g. JFK), city name, or airport name.

3

Select arrival airport

Tap the arrival field and search for your destination airport. Coordinates are set automatically.

4

View the map

The map appears between the departure/arrival fields and the date section, showing markers for both airports.

Train, Bus, Boat & Other Transit

Non-air boarding passes use location search to find stations, stops, and terminals.

1

Set the transit type

Open or create a boarding pass, tap Edit, and set the transit type (train, bus, boat, or other).

2

Search for departure

Tap the departure location field and search for a station name, city, or address.

3

Search for arrival

Tap the arrival location field and search for your destination station or stop.

4

View the map

The map updates to show markers for both departure and arrival points.

Event & Generic Pass Locations

Event tickets, hotels, parking, and rental passes show location markers on the map. You can add up to 10 locations per pass (Apple Wallet limit).

1

Open the pass

Open a pass and tap Edit.

2

Find the Locations section

Scroll to the Locations section.

3

Search for a location

Tap Add Location and search by venue name, address, or place.

4

Add more locations

Repeat to add additional locations (up to 10 total). The map auto-zooms to fit all markers. Swipe left on any location to remove it.

Location Types by Pass

Boarding Pass (Air)

Departure + arrival airports with two markers, auto-zoomed

Boarding Pass (Other Transit)

Departure + arrival stations or stops with two markers, auto-zoomed

Event / Hotel / Parking / Rental

Up to 10 venue locations with multi-marker map display

Marker Colors

Map markers use color to indicate accuracy:

Red: Verified Location

The location was set from a known database or manually searched and confirmed.

Orange: May Be Inaccurate

Auto-detected from ticket text. A warning banner appears on the map. Search for the correct address to replace it.

Lock Screen Relevance

Locations added to passes enable Apple Wallet lock screen notifications. When you arrive near a saved location, the pass appears on your lock screen automatically. For passes with multiple locations like a festival with several stages, the pass appears at any of the saved locations.

Opening in Apple Maps

Single location: Opens Apple Maps with directions to that venue
Multiple locations: Opens Apple Maps with all locations pinned

Tips

Airport locations are the most accurate, coming from a built-in database of 9,000+ airports with precise coordinates
For train stations, search by the full station name (e.g. "London Paddington" rather than just "Paddington") for best results
Add multiple locations to festival passes so your lock screen shows the pass at every venue
If a location marker appears in the wrong place, search for the correct address to replace it
Location data syncs via iCloud, so maps appear on all your devices
