LA Fitness does not let you add your membership to Apple Wallet. To check in you open the LA Fitness app, tap the Membership Card icon, and hold the barcode up to the scanner. Here is how to move that barcode into Apple Wallet for good.

Why the LA Fitness App Holds Your Card

The app stores your member key tag as a barcode. The first time you use it you have to activate the digital card, and after that the barcode only lives behind a login inside the app.

If your phone battery dies, LA Fitness falls back to a manual check-in with your membership number. That works, but it is slower and depends on staff looking you up.

Several taps

Open the app, tap Membership Card, wait for the barcode. That is a few steps before you can scan.

Login wall

The digital card sits behind your account login, so a logout means re-entering credentials at the desk.

Signal dependent

The app can stall on weak club Wi-Fi before the barcode finishes loading.

No Wallet export

There is no Add to Apple Wallet button anywhere in the LA Fitness app.

Move the Barcode to Apple Wallet

Your LA Fitness member key tag is a plain barcode. NeatPass scans it and turns it into a genuine Apple Wallet pass, so the same number you show today scans from Wallet tomorrow with no login required.

The scanner cannot tell the difference

A Wallet pass holds the identical member number LA Fitness already has on file. Check the supported barcode formats to confirm your key tag is covered.

How to Add Your LA Fitness Card to Apple Wallet

1

Open Membership Card

In the LA Fitness app, tap the Membership Card icon and activate the digital card if you have not already.
2

Capture the barcode

Screenshot it, or scan the physical key tag with the NeatPass camera.
3

Import to NeatPass

Add the image in NeatPass. On-device scanning reads the barcode and member number for you.
4

Label and style

Name it LA Fitness and choose a color so it stands out in Wallet.
5

Add to Apple Wallet

Tap Add to Apple Wallet to place the pass with your other cards.
6

Check in

At the desk, open the pass and hold the barcode to the scanner.

Style it to spot fast

A bright label and color make the card easy to grab mid-swipe. The design settings change only the look, never the barcode.

What Changes at the Front Desk

Every visit gets a little quicker.

One swipe in

Double-click, swipe to the pass, scan. No app, no login, no waiting.

Offline ready

The barcode is stored on your device, so club dead zones no longer block you.

Arrival reminder

An optional location trigger can surface the card as you reach the gym.

Identical barcode

The member number is preserved exactly, so it scans like the app.

Yours alone

No accounts and no cloud uploads. The card data stays on your iPhone.

Watch friendly

The pass syncs to Apple Watch, so a dead phone is no longer a problem.
