Recently Deleted Passes

Recover deleted passes within 30 days or remove them permanently

2 min read

When you delete a pass from your library, it moves to Recently Deleted instead of being removed immediately. Passes remain there for 30 days, giving you time to recover them if needed. After 30 days, passes are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Accessing Recently Deleted

1

Open Settings

Tap the gear icon to open NeatPass Settings.

2

Find Passes section

Scroll to the Passes section.

3

Tap Recently Deleted

A count badge next to the label shows how many passes are currently in the trash. If the count is zero, the badge is hidden.

What You See

Each deleted pass shows:

Logo (faded to indicate deleted state)
Pass title and organizer name
Days remaining before permanent deletion
Count badge on the logo corner for multi-ticket pass groups

Expiration Indicators

4+ days remaining

Gray clock icon. Plenty of time to decide whether to restore or delete.

3 days or fewer

Red warning triangle. The pass will be permanently deleted soon.

0 days remaining

Permanently deleted on next cleanup. Cannot be recovered.

Restoring Passes

Both methods require confirmation before the pass is restored.

Swipe right on the pass to reveal the blue Restore button.

Pass Groups

Multi-ticket passes (like round-trip flights or multi-day festival passes) are grouped together. Restoring a group restores all passes in it at once. You cannot restore individual passes from within a group.

Permanently Deleting Passes

Swipe to Delete

Find the pass in Recently Deleted.

2

Swipe left

Swipe left on the pass to reveal the red Delete Permanently button.

Context Menu

1

Long-press the pass

Long-press the pass to open the context menu.

2

Tap Delete Permanently

Clear All

Tap the Clear All button at the top left to permanently delete everything in Recently Deleted at once. The confirmation dialog shows the total number of passes. This action cannot be undone.
If you want to hide a pass without deleting it, consider archiving it instead. Archived passes are hidden from your main library but remain accessible.

Automatic Cleanup

Passes are automatically removed after 30 days. The countdown starts from the moment you delete the pass. No action needed, cleanup happens automatically. The "days remaining" counter updates each time you open Recently Deleted.

iCloud Sync

Recently Deleted syncs across your devices via iCloud. Delete a pass on iPhone and it appears in Recently Deleted on iPad. Restore on one device and it reappears in your library everywhere. See data management for more about iCloud sync and storage.
