No Tracking

No Analytics

We don't track what you do, what passes you have, or how you use the app.

Minimal Network Use

Only connects briefly when adding passes to Apple Wallet. See below.

What Happens When Adding to Wallet

Apple Wallet passes must be cryptographically signed. When you add a pass, NeatPass sends only a hash (a scrambled fingerprint) of the pass data to our signing server. The actual ticket content, barcode, images, and personal details never leave your device.

A hash is a one-way mathematical function. It's impossible to reverse a hash back into the original data. Think of it like a fingerprint: it can verify the pass is authentic, but reveals nothing about the pass itself.

For more details, see the privacy article.

Security

Data isolated in a private app container

Troubleshooting

Running low on storage

Delete old passes and empty Recently Deleted. The app itself is large due to the bundled AI. This is normal.

Passes disappeared

Check Recently Deleted in Settings. Deleted passes are kept for 30 days.

Tips

Archive old passes instead of deleting if you might need them
Empty Recently Deleted when you're certain
Back up before switching devices
