Arsenal already issues a native Apple Wallet pass. It is called the Arsenal Digital Pass, and it is the electronic version of your membership card that lives in your phone wallet. Physical membership cards no longer open the turnstiles, so the digital pass is how you get into Emirates Stadium.
There is no workaround needed for stadium entry. The official Arsenal route puts a real Apple Wallet pass on your iPhone. This guide covers adding it, fixing it when it misbehaves, and where a tool like NeatPass handles the surrounding matchday paperwork that the official pass does not.
How the Arsenal Digital Pass Works
Three things are worth understanding before your first matchday, because they remove most of the confusion fans run into.
One pass, every game
Tickets are not separate passes. Every season-ticket fixture, and any game a Member buys, auto-loads onto the single Arsenal Digital Pass. There is no per-match download to chase.
NFC entry at the turnstile
Entry uses NFC, the same contactless technology behind Apple Pay and Google Pay. You tap the phone on the reader at the turnstile rather than scanning a barcode.
Tickets appear before kick-off
A fixture appears on the pass around a week before the game. Ballot and Ticket Exchange buys show up during the week before, and last-minute additions land no later than three hours before kick-off.
How to Add the Arsenal Digital Pass to Apple Wallet
There are two official routes. The fastest is the Add to Apple Wallet button in your confirmation email. If you do not have that to hand, the Arsenal app does the same job from the Ticket Hub.
From the confirmation email
Open the confirmation email on your iPhone
Tap Add to Apple Wallet
Confirm and tap Add
From the Arsenal app
Open the Arsenal app and go to Profile
Open the Ticket Hub
Tap Download
Tap Add to Apple Wallet
Download before you reach the stadium
Device Compatibility
The Arsenal Digital Pass works on the iPhones and Apple Watches most fans already carry. Apple Wallet itself is the requirement, so the supported list is broad:
- Face ID iPhones: every iPhone with Face ID is supported
- Touch ID iPhones: every Touch ID iPhone except the iPhone 5S
- Apple Watch: the original Apple Watch and every model since
The two-device limit
Sharing a Seat for a Match
You do not forward the Wallet pass itself to a friend. Sharing a seat goes through Ticket Transfer in the Ticket Hub. The recipient needs a free Arsenal ticketing account and accepts the transfer by email, after which the game loads onto their own digital pass.
If you want to release a seat you cannot use, Ticket Exchange in the Ticket Hub puts it back up for sale. Either way, the entry credential moves through Arsenal's system, not by AirDropping a pass between phones.
Troubleshooting the Arsenal Digital Pass
Three issues come up again and again. Each has a quick fix that keeps you out of the queue at the turnstile.
The pass disappeared from Apple Wallet
Wallet sometimes hides a pass it thinks has expired. In the Wallet app, scroll to the bottom and tap View Expired Passes, select the Arsenal Digital Pass, and tap Unhide. This must be done in the Wallet app directly. To stop it recurring, open Settings, Wallet & Apple Pay, and turn off Hide Expired Passes.
A fixture is not showing or the pass is not updating
If a game has not appeared or details look stale, open the pass, tap the three-dot menu, and make sure Automatic Updates is enabled, then refresh. If it still lags, restart the phone, or re-download the pass from the Arsenal app to pull the latest version.
Error when adding to a new phone
An error on add usually means you have reached the two-Wallet limit. The pass can sit in two Apple Wallets or one Google Wallet at a time. Remove it from a device you no longer use, then add it to the new one.
Where NeatPass Fits Around Matchday
The Arsenal Digital Pass handles Emirates Stadium entry, and nothing here replaces it. Keep using the official pass for the turnstile. NeatPass is for the rest of the matchday paperwork that has no Add to Apple Wallet button of its own.
Documents like parking, travel, or hospitality confirmations often arrive as PDFs or emails with no Wallet button, and away-game tickets from other clubs frequently use ticketing systems that never offer one. NeatPass turns those loose barcodes into Wallet passes so your whole matchday sits in one place.
Got away tickets, parking, or travel to carry on matchday?
NeatPass makes it easy to convert any ticket, pass, or loyalty card to Apple Wallet.
What NeatPass can put in Wallet around the game
- Away-game tickets: a barcode from another club's ticketing system, or one a mate screenshots over to you, becomes a clean Wallet pass
- Train and coach tickets: the QR or barcode for getting to the ground lives in Wallet next to everything else
- Parking confirmations: a matchday parking PDF or email gets a Wallet home instead of being buried in your inbox
- Hospitality documents: hospitality PDFs and booking confirmations become passes you can pull up at the door
What NeatPass does not do
NeatPass does not replace the Arsenal Digital Pass and cannot replicate the NFC entry credential at the turnstile. That tap-in is an official Arsenal pass and should stay exactly where it is. NeatPass complements it by carrying the documents around it.
For the surrounding tickets, see the import methods for getting them in, the supported barcode formats for what scans, the guide on adding a pass to Wallet, and the lock screen widgets for one-tap access on the way in.
Everything is processed on device with no accounts and no cloud uploads. The privacy FAQ covers exactly what does and does not leave the iPhone.

The honest summary: the Arsenal Digital Pass is a real Apple Wallet pass, and adding it is a two-minute job from the confirmation email or the Ticket Hub. Every fixture auto-loads onto that one pass, you tap in with NFC, and a quick Unhide or refresh fixes the rare moment it misbehaves.
For everything the official pass does not cover, the away tickets, parking, travel, and hospitality documents that arrive without a Wallet button, NeatPass turns those barcodes into passes that sit right alongside the Arsenal Digital Pass. The official pass gets you through the turnstile, and the rest of matchday rides in the same wallet.
