You are trying to add a ticket or pass to Apple Wallet, but the "Add to Apple Wallet" button is not showing on your screen. The page loads fine, you can see the ticket details, but the button that should let you save it to Wallet is nowhere to be found.
This is usually a display rendering issue on your iPhone, not a problem with the ticket itself. The most common culprit is a single setting that pushes the button off-screen.
Different from "no Wallet support"
Why the Button Disappears
Several iPhone settings and browser behaviors can hide the Add to Wallet button even when the website or app includes it. Here are the most common causes.
Display Zoom set to Zoomed
The most common cause. Zoomed mode scales up the entire UI, pushing buttons off the visible screen area
Safari webpage zoom too high
If webpage zoom is above 100%, the button may overflow past the bottom of the visible content
Non-Safari browser
Add to Wallet only works reliably in Safari. Chrome, Firefox, and in-app browsers often cannot trigger it
Portrait orientation
On smaller screens in Zoomed mode, the button may only become visible in landscape orientation
Region settings mismatch
Your Apple ID region or device region may prevent certain Wallet features from appearing
Outdated iOS version
Older iOS versions may have rendering bugs that hide the button on certain pages
Fix 1: Change Display Zoom to Standard
Display Zoom is the number one reason the Add to Wallet button goes missing. This setting scales the entire iPhone interface to make everything larger, but it can push buttons and controls past the edge of the screen.
Open Settings
Find Display Zoom
Switch to Default or Standard
Retry adding the pass
This fix has resolved the issue for users on iPhone 12 mini, iPhone SE, iPhone 13 Pro, and many other models. The button was there all along, just pushed out of view by the scaled-up interface.
Your iPhone will restart
Fix 2: Other Solutions If Display Zoom Did Not Help
If switching Display Zoom to Standard did not resolve the issue, try these additional fixes in order.
Reduce Safari webpage zoom
Rotate to landscape
Open in Safari
Restart your iPhone
Update iOS
Check region settings

Skip the button entirely
NeatPass makes it easy to convert any ticket, pass, or loyalty card to Apple Wallet.
Alternative: Add the Pass Without the Button
If nothing fixes the missing button, there is a workaround: capture the barcode from the ticket and create your own Wallet pass. The barcode contains all the data the scanner needs. Whether it comes from an official Add to Wallet button or a pass you created yourself, the scanner reads the same information.
NeatPass supports multiple import methods for getting cards and tickets into Wallet without depending on the official button.
Screenshot
Capture the ticket page showing the barcode
Photograph
Take a photo of a printed ticket or card
Camera scan
Scan the barcode directly with your camera
Photo library
Import an existing image from your library
NeatPass handles 18 barcode formats, including QR codes, Aztec codes, Code 128, and PDF417.
Your created pass works fully offline, just like an official Wallet pass.
Which iPhone Models Are Affected
Display Zoom is available on all iPhones since iOS 14 added it to all screen sizes, including the 5.8-inch iPhone X and XS. On newer models like the iPhone 11 and later, the setting is found under Settings > Display & Brightness > Display Zoom. Smaller models like the iPhone SE can also experience the hidden button issue from Safari webpage zoom or Accessibility Zoom settings.
Check our device compatibility guide to confirm your iPhone supports Apple Wallet passes.
Always use Safari
Frequently Asked Questions
The Button Is There, Just Hidden
In most cases, the Add to Apple Wallet button is not missing. It is being pushed off-screen by Display Zoom or rendered outside the visible area by browser zoom. A quick settings change fixes it for the vast majority of users.
If the settings fixes do not work for your specific situation, creating your own pass from the barcode is a reliable alternative. Either way, your ticket or card belongs in Apple Wallet, not stuck in a browser tab.
