Your AMC ticket may still live in the AMC app, not Apple Wallet. Apple Wallet only adds a ticket when AMC exposes a supported Add to Apple Wallet flow for that order.
If the button is missing, check the AMC account first. AMC says purchased tickets are waiting under the Tickets tab on the AMC Stubs Dashboard, while the Wallet tab is for membership details, stored cards, and gift cards.
Check AMC First
This is the fastest way to separate an AMC account issue from an Apple Wallet issue.
Tickets tab
AMC says upcoming showtimes and past events live under Tickets on the AMC Stubs Dashboard
Wallet tab
AMC's Wallet tab is for AMC Stubs membership details, virtual cards, and stored payment cards
No Wallet flow means no pass
If AMC never shows Add to Apple Wallet for that order, Apple Wallet cannot create a pass on its own
A missing button is not always a broken phone
What Apple Wallet Needs
Apple Wallet can add passes from an app, email, message, browser, AirDrop, or QR code, but only when the issuer supplies a supported pass.
Open the original AMC ticket
Look for Add to Apple Wallet
Keep the original ticket handy
Only use Wallet when AMC actually offers it
If the button is visually hidden, the general fix guide can help with display issues. See how to add passes to Wallet.
Use NeatPass Only for Static Barcodes
If AMC shows a barcode that stays the same when reopened, NeatPass can turn that barcode into a proper Wallet pass. If the code changes or depends on the app session, do not convert it.
Static code only
Reopen the same ticket and confirm the barcode does not change
Works offline after import
Once added, the pass is available on the iPhone or Apple Watch without signal
Fast to scan
A Wallet pass opens faster than digging through email or waiting for an app to load
Read more about supported barcode formats, the import flow in import methods, and what to do when a code is hard to read in barcode not detected.
After import, you can also see how offline mode helps in low-signal venues, and how customizing the pass design can make the barcode easier to find at the gate.
Move AMC tickets into Wallet
NeatPass makes it easy to convert any ticket, pass, or loyalty card to Apple Wallet.
At the Venue
Keep the path that matches the ticket type. A live AMC ticket belongs in the AMC app. A static barcode belongs in Wallet.
Use the AMC app if the ticket never became a pass
Use Wallet if the pass is already there
Check scan quality

A Reliable Path to Entry
AMC's own help pages point users to their account dashboard for tickets. Apple Wallet only helps when AMC exposes a supported pass flow. For static barcodes, NeatPass gives a fallback that works the same way every time.
If the barcode changes from one view to the next, keep using the AMC app. If it stays fixed, converting it can make check-in faster and less stressful.
