Allegiant's official mobile app is the right starting point for a paperless boarding pass. Allegiant says the app puts the boarding pass on your phone and lets you add it to your wallet after mobile check-in.

If the official handoff is unavailable, the NeatPass section below explains when a current static source is suitable.

Use the official Allegiant app first

Allegiant's app can retrieve an upcoming trip, complete mobile check-in and provide a paperless boarding pass. Follow its current prompts until the airline presents the boarding pass and Wallet action.

1

Install or update the Allegiant app

Use the current official Allegiant app on your iPhone and open the upcoming trip. Keep your confirmation number and passenger details available if the app asks you to retrieve the reservation.
2

Check in from 24 hours before departure

Allegiant's mobile check-in opens 24 hours before scheduled departure and closes 45 minutes before departure. During check-in, confirm the seat assignment and baggage selections.
3

Add the boarding pass to your wallet

After check-in, use the app's wallet action to save the boarding pass on the iPhone. Open Wallet and verify the name, flight, seat and barcode before leaving for the airport.

For the static-source fallback later in this guide, the NeatPass Wallet export guide shows how a pass created in NeatPass moves into Apple Wallet.

The Allegiant boundaries to remember

Allegiant's convenience comes with clear airport cutoffs. The following rules are separate from the Wallet app and still apply when the barcode is ready on your phone.

Check-in closes 45 minutes before departure

Mobile, online and airport check-in all close 45 minutes before scheduled departure. Leave time for security and the gate after checking in.

Government-issued ID

Passengers age 18 and older must present an acceptable government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport.

Checked bags need the counter

Checked baggage must be taken to the ticket counter or bag drop at least one hour and no more than two hours before departure.

Some passengers need an agent

Allegiant may require airport check-in for some passengers. If an agent must print the pass, bring the confirmation number and government-issued photo ID.

After downloading the pass, the NeatPass offline-mode guide explains how it remains available on the iPhone.

Keep a current Allegiant source ready in Wallet

NeatPass is useful when you have a current valid static source issued by the airline. It turns that supported source into a Wallet pass for quicker access while preserving the barcode data Allegiant encoded.

Bring a current Allegiant source into Wallet

NeatPass makes it easy to convert any ticket, pass, or loyalty card to Apple Wallet.

Import the current source

Bring in the PDF, image, screenshot or barcode Allegiant issued using sharing, Files, Photos or the camera.

Preserve the barcode data

The Wallet pass keeps the same encoded barcode data that NeatPass reads from the source.

Keep the original source

NeatPass retains the original document beside the pass so you can compare details or show the source when needed.

Before importing, check the NeatPass supported barcode guide and use the NeatPass View Original guide whenever you need the airline-issued document beside the Wallet pass.

Use the latest valid Allegiant source

Complete check-in before importing. If trip details change, import the newest valid source Allegiant issues and keep the official source available at the airport.

What to do at the airport

The pass in Wallet is only one part of the airport flow. Use these steps to avoid the most common Allegiant surprises.

1

No checked bag

If you have the boarding pass, have paid for your carry-on reservation and are not checking a bag, Allegiant says you can proceed through TSA security to the departure gate. Keep your government-issued ID ready.
2

Checked bag

Take checked luggage to the Allegiant ticket counter or bag drop at least one hour and no more than two hours before departure. Confirm the bag reservation during mobile check-in first.
3

Agent-printed pass

If you must check in at the airport or need an agent to print a pass, bring your confirmation number and government-issued photo ID. Allegiant lists a $5 fee per boarding pass when an agent prints it at the airport and waives it when the airline requires airport check-in.
4

Arrival buffer

Allegiant recommends arriving at least two hours before departure and being checked in, through security and in the boarding-gate area at least one hour before the flight.

For faster access at the gate, NeatPass Lock Screen widgets can surface a relevant pass near departure.
